Alex and Reed finally got their first pictures ever with Santa! It's not that we haven't tried in the past - but they could never get past the standing in line part. It just happened that we were at a store this weekend at the lake and Santa was there. After a little talking and a little bribery, they both told Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Reed didn't quite make it to sitting in Santa's lap, so his picture is a Santa hug. And of course, since we weren't planning it, they are not in cute outfits, but we'll take it!
On another note, Alex has never been a big Santa fan - he's never been into the whole flying around the world to deliver toys and coming down the chimney bit - but after he met Santa in person (and Santa told him to leave carrots for Rudolph) he's a convert! He has been crazy over decorating, putting out lights and Freddie the elf who you can see behind Santa in the picture. Of course, Reed follows suit. I love it!

Happy Turkey Day!
We celebrated Thanksgiving at the lake for the first time this year - and it was a huge success! Grandma, Pops, Aunt Christie and Moz and Gramps were all there to eat, shop, relax and enjoy. We had tons of food and got to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner outside on the porch. We played games, built fires and even got to visit with Santa (more to come on that!). It was a great way to relax and enjoy all the wonderful people that we are so thankful for.

Golf clubs and racetracks
No wonder the boys like Moz and Gramps' house! This past weekend they went to visit and were surprised with REAL golf clubs and a huge slot car track. I think they had a blast with both!
Make your own...
pizza!! Just about every Friday night turns out to be pizza night. But for this one, we decided to do it a little different. The boys (and the grown ups) built their own pizzas. Alex went for sausage, tomatoes, peppers and olives, while Reed chose pepperoni and a few peppers (I'm not sure he knew what they were!) They enjoyed the experience and the pizza. Yum.

Footie pajamas
Alex needed footie pajamas for his Christmas program at school. So when I saw some the other day, I went ahead and picked them up. When Alex saw them, he loved them and has slept in nothing else since. Today, I got Reed a pair too. They put them on immediately, ate dinner in them and then wore them to bed. Who knew?

Incognito
Alex went to the dentist this afternoon and picked out this disguise as his prize. And he got a good report on his teeth. Smile!
