Happy Halloween!

We are past the point of matching, cute costumes. These two boys put these together on Halloween day from stuff we already had at home. Reed also had a great party at school (this is the mummy station). And even though the Tiger tailgate was rained out, we had a great time trick-or-treating with our neighbors!

Altar server

Alex is an altar server this year. He takes the job pretty seriously and is doing great!

Feed my Flock

Alex and Reed both got to volunteer at Feed my Flock this year at church. We made meals to be used by families locally and in Africa. They did such a great job helping out, and they looked cute in their hair nets!

Football

Alex has had a great football season. They played the last game of the season at the CBHS fields under the lights. It was such a big treat!

Soccer tournament

Reed is loving his soccer team, and he had his first soccer tournament over fall break. It was in Oxford, so we went down a day early and made a weekend of it. It was a cold, windy day, but the boys had a blast!

Labor Day

Another successful Labor Day at the lake with the Nashville and Chattanooga Johnstons!

Pep rally

These cute boys are ready for the first pep rally of the year!

Soccer

Reed has his first soccer game with his Soccer Ole Select team. He scored a goal, and they won! So fun to watch these boys play.

Football

Alex had his first football game. He played a little bit, and they won!

First day of school

Today was the first day of 3rd grade and 5th grade. Look at these big boys!

 

Reed is 8!

Reed had a great 8th birthday! We had a fun family birthday party on Sunday and a friend party on his actual birthday. His birthday fell just a few days before the start of school, so he enjoyed seeing his friends and jumping!

Football

Alex is playing 5th grade football for the first time this year. Practice has just started, but he is loving all the gear :)

Redbirds game

We finally made it to a Redbirds' game! Thanks to Aunt Christie for great tickets. We enjoyed some snacks and stayed for most of the game. Everyone had fun!

More baseball

Alex played one more round of baseball for St. Louis last week. They ended up playing five games, including the championship game. They didn't win the championship, but they had a great time. It was so much fun to see these friends play together!
