Happy Easter

We had a very happy Easter weekend at the lake. We played outside a bit, had an indoor egg hunt and went to church. The boys enjoyed some treats from the Easter bunny, too!

Lucky day

We have two very lucky boys. Within minutes of sitting down to search for four-leaf clovers, they both found one!

School egg hunt

Brian had a fun afternoon at Reed's egg hunt. Some cupcakes, some running for eggs and lots of playground time made this kindergartner (and his dad) happy!

Little swimmer!

Reed is finishing up his latest round of swimming lessons, and he can swim! He decided that noodles were for babies and never looked back!

Neighborhood egg hunt

We had our neighborhood egg hunt this past weekend, and it turned out to be our first-ever indoor egg hunt. With the rain and very cold wind, we nixed the outdoor hunt and hid eggs all over the Brasfield's house! Alex and Reed grabbed eggs with lightening speed and enjoyed the candy treats. 

I forgot my camera, so this is the only picture I have. Reed looks guilty, but he was really just enjoying a mouthful of jelly beans.

St. Patrick's Eve

Saturday was so beautiful and we took full advantage of it! We took a walk at Shelby Farms, played on the playground and watched the Tiger game in the morning. After a quick rest, we headed downtown for the St. Patrick's Day parade. It was unusual and very festive. We had a great dinner on the Bosco's patio and dessert at YoLo. It was a very fun day!

More Spring Break

We didn't have any plans for spring break, but it sure turned out to be busy and fun for the boys. They spent two days with Moz and Gramps this week and had a great time. They had a huge breakfast buffet, played at the church family life center and spent lots of time outside. I think everyone was happy and exhausted by the end of it!

Work and zoo

The boys went to work with me today, and they were great. They were super quiet and even did an awesome job talking to all the grownups.

As a treat after a hard days work, we headed over to the zoo for a gorgeous afternoon. We were excited to check out the new stingray exhibit and see the penguin feeding. I just love that every time we go there it seems like we do something new. Fun times!

Incredible?!?

We went to Incredible Pizza this week. The boys loved it, I think. But that place is crazy!

Sping Break

We don't have any big plans for Spring Break this year, but we kicked off the week with a trip to the lake. The weather was warmer, and we spent tons of time playing outside. The boys stayed an extra night with Grandma and Pops, so I'm sure they are still having fun!

Muffins with Reed

Today we celebrated Muffins with Moms in kindergarten. Reed was so excited, and I had such a good time hanging out with my little buddy!
