New playground

The boys are at zoo camp this week, so we took advantage of Overton Park and visited the new playground this afternoon. Everyone had a fun time!

Painting

I was home last week, and we had a fun time doing a bunch of nothing. The boys helped me paint a desk for their new computer, and it turns out that they are pretty good little painters. The desk looks great, and the whole process was a lot faster with helpers. Plus, they are very proud of their good work!

St. Louis - part 3

We wrapped up our visit with the Magic House, tons of swimming and the City Museum. We loved getting to spend so much time with friends, and we have to do it again very soon!

St. Louis - part 2

On our first full day, we visited the St. Louis Zoo and the Science Center. The zoo was crazy busy, so we weren't able to see much, but we did enjoy a really cool new sea lion exhibit and ride the train. Since we left the zoo a little early, we had time to check out the Science Center and it was a big hit. The boys loved all the hands-on activities, and it was a nice break from the crowded zoo!

For dinner, we had a cookout with the whole group at John's new house. John and Jesse were so nice to put up with all the little boys, and we loved a fun, relaxing evening.

St. Louis - part 1

We had such a great trip to St. Louis! We met up with the Mindermans and the Coles for a total of 7 little boys!

On the way there, we stopped at our favorite little town for some awesome sandwiches and cookies. When we arrived in town, we made a quick visit to Soulard market and met up with everyone at the brewery. We only made it on the tour to the horses, but we did enjoy the refreshments afterward!

After a quick rest, we grabbed pizzas, found a great playground and enjoyed a little nighttime swimming.

Fourth of July

We celebrated the long Fourth of July weekend at the lake with Grandma and Pops, Aunt Christie and Chris. We didn't take many pictures, but we had a ton of fun! We played in the water, caught fireflies, played badminton and even visited the Botel. We also shot some fireworks on the water and watched a few too!

Moz and Gramps Vacation

Alex and Reed took a first of July vacation to Moz and Gramps' house. They stayed over two nights and did tons of fun stuff. According to their reports, they played golf and tennis, went swimming and played putt-putt. The weather was great, and I think everyone had a fantastic vacation!
