We have been in basketball overload lately! Alex started his season, and Reed is wrapping his up.
Last week at Reed's game, all the big brothers and sisters sat on the sideline and cheered for their siblings. It was adorable.
Last night, Reed scored at least 15 or 20 points. And he's the shortest kid on the team.
Alex started off the season with one loss and one win, but we'll take it. He has been focusing on rebounds and got eight rebounds in his second game. More March Madness to come!

A hike at the lake
We don't get too many opportunities to explore in the woods, but this weekend at the lake we followed a path near the house and ended up a cool spot on the water. The rocks were super thin and brittle at the water's edge, and the boys loved breaking off pieces and throwing them into the water.
But I think they loved using the fallen trees as a jungle gym even more!
...and Alex loves cap guns!

Ribs
We went to Germantown Commissary for dinner. Alex wanted ribs, so we let him order his own grownup-sized order for the first time. He had ribs, coleslaw, bbq beans, a roll and a deviled egg. He enjoyed every bit of it, and I think this is just the beginning of paying more for his dinner than mine and Brian's combined!
