Reed almost burned down the school

by heating pizza in the microwave for 17 minutes. He claimed that there was steam coming from the microwave, but I'm pretty sure it was smoke.

Homecoming tailgate

We had such a great time tailgating this weekend. We really enjoyed all that Tiger Lane has to offer - a parade, bounce houses, the band, a pep rally and Pouncer. All of that plus a fun time hanging out with friends and a Tiger victory. Go Tigers!

Caroline's hunt

Caroline did some hunting this weekend, and she left us a little present to let us know. She was very proud of hunting her first chipmunk. Eww...

Snack stops

We are doing some minor construction at our house, so we've been making lots of fun afternoon snack stops. Love these cuties!

Saints parade and parties

First grade has a saints parade on Halloween, and Reed dressed as Saint Lawrence. They paraded around the school and then had a little Halloween party. Alex enjoyed his Halloween party too!

Happy Halloween

We had an especially spooky Halloween this year! It was rainy and windy, and the power went out in part of our neighborhood just before dark. We met up with a lot of our neighbors (at a house with no power!) and then headed out to trick-or-treat. There were neighbors passing out candy in the street and candles lighting the way to dark houses. We loved the uniqueness it, and it was perfectly fitting for Halloween!
