Fall and football

We had a full weekend of fall and football fun! On Saturday, we went to an early Tiger football game, and even though they are terrible, the boys don't know the difference. We walked up Tiger Lane (which was really cool) and had practically an entire section to ourselves at the Liberty Bowl. They had hot dogs, watched the band and Pouncer and had a blast - who cares that the "yellow team" won, right?

After the Tiger game, we joined the Coles to watch the Bulldog game. Mississippi State is Alex and Reed's second favorite team, so they were pretty excited. But when we got there, they were WAY more excited about playing with new toys and eating dinner. Which worked out great, because that meant we got to watch the game! The boys stayed up late and we all had a blast.

On Sunday, I was in a fall mood, so we cooked a big pot of chili and cornbread, made some candy corn cookies and invited the grandparents over for dinner. A great impromptu end to the weekend. I love fall!
